These photos attempt to call into question preconceived notions of the kink and BDSM scenes as somehow being opposed to conventional concepts of softness, tenderness, and romanticism. Through the lens of queer photography, I hope to ask the audience to become curious about the work they are viewing, and to interrogate any feelings that arise which conflict with perspectives they may currently hold.
