WAYWRD Creative is a one-person creative powerhouse led by Adam Carey (they/them) – a queer, non-binary photographer and art director based in Berlin.

They have over four years of experience in the fields of art direction and visual design – working for clients such as Zalando, Wenkerottke Gmbh, and flaconi.de – and completed their BA in Kommunikationsdesign at the HTW Berlin in 2021.

Adam’s skills as an art director come from a deep understanding of design strategy paired with a tireless creative imagination. They see the big picture, and make sure it gets delivered down to the final detail.

As a photographer, Adam concerns themselves with the practice of storytelling – whether that be the creation of fantastic worlds through immersive set design, or portraying a subject’s radical authenticity through simplicity.
